Learning Forward PA News

Learning Forward PA would like to congratulate Colonial School District since two teams of educators have each been awarded a $1000.00 Mini Grant to promote innovative professional development practices.

Educators Kim Geiger, Kathleen Hamill, and Dr. Liz McKeaney submitted a grant proposal that focused on empowering the professional community in order to develop a common language and philosophy related to writing instruction. They plan to develop a Writing Center that involves all stakeholders in the educational community.

Educators Anna Mindel and Donna Gaffney submitted a grant proposal that focused on an innovative plan to build capacity regarding differentiated instruction related to mathematics.

Learning Forward PA honored the grant recipients at this year’s Fall Institute held in October.
